Nine Diagnostics Pitches at BioTools Innovator East Coast Road Tour

Nine Diagnostics Pitches at BioTools Innovator East Coast

Nine Diagnostics participated in the BioTools Innovator East Coast Pitch Event, a competitive showcase powered by MedTech Innovator. The program is one of the few accelerator platforms in the life sciences ecosystem focused exclusively on the tools and platform layer: early-stage companies building the instruments, assays, and data systems that underpin advances in drug discovery, translational research, and clinical diagnostics.

BioTools Innovator identifies and elevates companies at the frontier of enabling technology development, connecting them with investors, strategic partners, and ecosystem leaders who are actively shaping the next generation of research and diagnostic infrastructure. Selection to participate reflects recognition of a platform’s scientific depth and commercial potential at an early but critical stage of development.

At the event, Nine Diagnostics presented its AI-enabled multi-omic nanosensor platform and its approach to generating molecular fingerprints that combine proteomic, metabolomic, and lipidomic information alongside patient clinical context. Unlike conventional diagnostic approaches that rely on predefined biomarker targets, the Nine Diagnostics platform applies machine learning to identify disease-relevant patterns from complex biological signals without requiring prior knowledge of which markers matter. This positions the technology at the intersection of advanced sensing, multi-omic data integration, and clinical decision support.

The East Coast pitch format provided direct access to a curated audience of investors and strategic partners specifically focused on next-generation research tools and diagnostic platforms. These conversations are central to Nine Diagnostics’ near-term strategy: validating the platform through research use partnerships, building a commercialization pathway from research use only service agreements toward laboratory-developed tests, and identifying collaborative opportunities that can accelerate clinical translation.

Participation in events like BioTools Innovator reflects Nine Diagnostics’ deliberate approach to building visibility across both the diagnostics tools ecosystem and the oncology and biopharma networks it is engaging in parallel. The platform has relevance at multiple layers of the research and clinical value chain, spanning from biological discovery in translational settings to treatment monitoring and patient stratification in clinical oncology. The BioTools Innovator pitch event was an important step in advancing those connections.

About Nine Diagnostics

Nine Diagnostics is an AI-enabled multi-omic nanosensor company advancing precision medicine. The platform simultaneously captures proteomic, metabolomic, and lipidomic signals alongside patient clinical context to generate a multi-omic fingerprint, using machine learning to identify disease-relevant patterns without requiring prior knowledge of which biomarkers matter. This enables pre-treatment patient stratification, on-treatment response monitoring, and post-treatment minimal residual disease detection. Founded by Freddy T. Nguyen, MD, PhD (CEO), Daniel A. Heller, PhD (CSO), and Mijin Kim, PhD (Scientific Advisor), Nine Diagnostics is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
